Two giant one-third scale models at Dawn Patrol 99! In foreground in Gus Deltwas' highly detailed Balsa USA Sopwith Pup with flight-leader streamers and in background is Mitch Epstein's beautiful SE5a.	Tom Kosewski's big beautiful Morane Saulnier comes in for a landing at Dawn Patrol '99. Aircraft is one-third scale and is highly detailed as are all of Tom's planes.
Bob Saunders' beautiful F4B2. It has a 68" top wing, is powered by an OS 1.20 four-stroke and weighs 11.5 pounds. Bob is from Willington, CT.	Dennis Hernandez from Hollis, NY shows off his Junkers CL-1. It has a wingspan of 80", weighs 15 pounds and is powered by an OS 1.08.

A nice shot of some of the details on Tom Kosewski's giant Morane Saulnier A-1. It has a wingspan of 101" and tips the scales at 28 pounds. Tom is from Boylston, MA.	A closeup of Gus Deltwas' giant Sopwith Pup. The Pup weighs 42 pounds and is powered by a Hornet 4.2. Gus is from Lawrence, MA.
Mitch Epstein's SE5a has a wingspan of 96", is powered by a Zenoah G-62 and weighs 36 pounds. It's a beautiful flyer!	Does it get any more real looking than this? Mitch Epstein of Leominster, MA puts his giant SE5a through its paces.
Magnificent one-third SE5a does slow, low fly-by at Dawn Patrol 99. Mitch Epstein is pilot and owner of this superb giant!	Dave Johnson from Vernon, CT displays his 84 inch Taube with the four cylinder Cirrus engine he fabricated (seen at below) as well as a 61 inch Fokker D III. Dave flew both models at Dawn Patrol 1999.
Is that Voss on venturing over the Green Road sector? No, its actually David Johnson's Albatross which was distroyed in a mishap just days before the Dawn Patrol Fly In. A new one is under construction so perhaps we'll see it at Dawn Patrol 2000.	A close up of Dave Johnson's Cirrus four-cylinder engine. Dave has fabricated a number of these miniature engines for use in his aircraft. The Cirrus powers a 84 inch Taube which weighs 9 pounds. Flight characteristics of this model is "very scale".
Event Co-Sponsor Paul Savastano's Albatross in flight. Aircraft is built from Paul's own plans and is powered with a U.S. Engines 41.	Event Co-Sponsor and NCRCC Secretary Bob Boulais with Fokker D VII. Built from Effinger plans, this quarter scale a/c weighs 22 pounds and is powered with a Quadra 42.
Event Co-Sponsor and NCRCC Field Supervisor Paul Savastano flies a Dawn Patrol sortie with frequent visitor to the field, Jake. Jake is an avid WW I enthusiast, too!	Gus Deltwas shows a nice flying Balsa USA Sopwith Pup. Gus has plenty of detail on the aircraft and it flies beautifully. Gus hails from Lawrence, Mass. and has been to every Dawn Patrol event so far!
Three scouts ready for an early morning patrol! All aircraft are one-third scale and represent the growing trend at Dawn Patrol over Green Road sector! The SE5a and both Pups flew magnificently.	Bob Boulais' Fokker D VII as it touches down at Dawn Patrol 99. Built from WE Technical Plans and powered with a Quadra 42, this is a great flying plane!
